VORSETAN TOS MROLNYES - We may have defeated Tim, but we are a long way from defeating The White Void.
CAEMUS has never been the same since the Dime War and the War on Tim. The G Empire, the once seemingly unstoppable force that ruled the multiverse, fell to an even more unstoppable force. A being that could annihilate any world, and turn it to a white wasteland. A being that was sure to destroy every last world in the Twin Multiverses. Tim. Once a rumour, then enemy #1. Everything fell apart. We, the Lromedar and Delkarme, had only just barely survived. We didn't even know Tim had fallen to a Dolnissian force. We lost contact with everyone - the Terrans, Centaurs, Samalians, Spaghettistaners, the Letter-likes, and the Shirket.
Recently though, we have restored contact with the Spaghettistaners. We've been in talk with the Spaghettistan Military Unit for the past 4 days. They tell of a horror we never knew existed.
"The Horde is uncontrollable", the SMU over the phone said, "and we're unsure what's going on".
"We'd long known the Horde was under new leadership. The Hellscape had been getting worse for months. We never knew how bad it could get", they continued. "We thought we saw the worst of it last year, when we saw a group of corrupted letter-likes turn SC2-751P into horrors. It was unprecedented." Us Lromedar and Delkarme had heard of these stories before - but had always dismissed them as rumours. We had to ask further.
"Any possible further details?", our person said over the phone.
"Not exactly. We had been seeing odd things happening with various letter-likes leading up to then. The weirdest thing happened two days later, where we found a group of seemingly letter-likes in exile. Even weirder is what happened after that."
"We had been noticing signals from odd places ever since we fled to Old Spaghettistan in exile. Only recently was it found they all came from the same general place. What were they associated with? So we set up a permanent presence at Tau Ceti e to monitor these more closely." The SMU then started going off on a long explanation, but in layman's terms, they have since determined these to be associated with Horde activity.
"...we then [...] found out the worlds currently under attack by the renewed Horde, and more importantly, where they may be controlled from." The information revealed was startling. As it turns out, they were closing in on us! Proxima Centauri in particular appears to have a highly elevated level of Horde activity. It may be that the new leader of the Horde is from there. Nobody has yet risked going there to challenge them.
